The ’Atlanta’ and ‘Deadpool 2’ star sat down with Lucy to talk about the climate crisis, what it was like to go waste free, and how important it is to engage with full force.

One small step Beetz takes regularly is bringing a fork, spoon, knife, kitchen cloth, and straw with here everywhere she goes so she won’t need to use single-use options.

“It’s about being creative, which is, I think, what’s been fun for me is trying to think of new ways to use what I have at home,” Beetz said.

Beetz also mentioned she has been secondhand shopping, actively choosing to buy less clothing, and taking the time to really evaluate whether she needs something before purchasing it.

“Beyond just talking about it, I think it’s about action,” she said. “Zero waste has been this nice way into it.”
